It is high time for the international community to discuss seriously about the new Israeli extremism taking place under the Netanyahu’s era


On Friday, May 20,the Israeli  Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon,resigned from his post . On the way to the door, Yaalon blasted #Netanyahu, saying he has lost confidence in the prime minister’s decision-making and morals.

Who will  succeed him? Avigdor #Lieberman, a West Bank settler.  He is a former foreign minister and current leader of an ultra­nationalist political party built around the 1 million Russian-speaking immigrants to #Israel.Even  the right-wing Jewish Home party approvingly described the new coalition as Israel’s “most right-wing government ever.” last week.

Israel has been “infected by the seeds of fascism,” said former Prime Minister Ehud Barak.”What has happened is a hostile takeover of the Israeli government by dangerous elements,” Ehud Barak, Israel’s most decorated soldier and a former defense minister following his spell as head of government, told Channel 10 TV.

Lieberman has pressed for Arab citizens of Israel to move to the West Bank and wants to implement the death penalty for terrorists. He also wants to increase pension payments for the Russian newcomers.

Les actes racistes ont progressé de 17,5 % ; les actes anti-musulmans ont été multipliés par trois ; les actes antisémites sont restés à un niveau particulièrement élevé et ont été marqués par les attentats de janvier 2015.

Muhammad al-Qiq is a Palestinian journalist. Last November 21, Israeli authorities lawlessly arrested him. He committed no crimes.

On December 17, an administrative detention order was issued against him, used when Israel wants someone imprisoned without just cause.

It’s usually imposed for six months, renewable ad infinitum. Thousands of Palestinian political prisoners languish in its gulag.

First time in history: Initial results show 19 Saudi women elected for first time (English -French)


A taboo was broken in Saudi Arabia this weekend when women voted for the first time.

Oil-rich Saudi Arabia boasts modern infrastructure of highways, skyscrapers and ever-more shopping malls.

But women still require permission from male family members to travel, work or marry.

According to official figures, 130,000 women registered to vote in Saturday’s poll, compared with 1.35 million men. Just 979 female candidates, compared with 5,938 male candidates, managed to reach the final list, and the ability of female candidates to promote their platforms was limited.
